Sketchy details of this Ian Fisher memorial match are emerging as victims slowly sober up and recover from an severe alcohol-induced amnesia. It is apparent however that an impressive 781 runs were scored in this all day game, following the customary 6.30am start, with Essex emerging narrow victors and thus avenging their ignominious defeat of last year. It would appear that a fantastic time was had by all thanks it would appear not only to the cricket, but also the catering facilities!
